Regarding Misdeclaration and False Reporting of Cargo
In light of several recent incidents involving cargo misdeclaration, including concealment, incorrect
declaration, or omission of cargo information—especially involving dangerous goods—which have
led to container explosions, fires, and even catastrophic marine accidents such as vessel fires, our
company hereby issues this reminder.
Such incidents pose serious threats to the safety of vessels, maritime transportation, port operations,
human life and property, the global supply chain, and the marine environment. These events have
resulted in significant economic losses and legal liabilities.
To reinforce the management of transport safety, TS Lines will further strengthen the inspection
and supervision of all cargo declarations (including but not limited to dangerous goods). Any
failure to accurately declare cargo in accordance with regulations—including but not limited to the
following scenarios—will result in severe penalties. In addition to pursuing compensation for all losses
and costs incurred, our company will impose fines on customers who violate cargo declaration
requirements:
